It was 1975 as three engineering apprentices decided to start a band whilst hammering and filing over a workbench,they needed to brush up on their guitar skills so under the guidance of Mark Thompson of the famous Buzz Music in Hereford ,they learned to play their instruments playing covers of a variety of songs, after a few years that band folded and another emerged from the ashes called Prism then changed to Survivor , gigging all over Wales and the Midlands and when that band folded out of the ashes yet again another band that did some recording covering the great song Eloise four years before the Damned had a huge hit with it ,what might have been eh . Then in the mid eighties started another band called Toccata playing many clubs up and down the Welsh Valleys .Then he formed a duo playing keyboards as well as lead vocal duties In more recent times as bassist in party band Mirroball and now with the ever popular band Rubble. Jonny,s approach to bass has always been to keep faithful to the original and to lock in with the drummer to provide a solid foundation to the groove ,and to provide harmony vocals to Keith’s lead vocal ,to see how much the crowd enjoys the music is what makes it so special.
